Multi-Bin Location

At warehouses where excess stock is kept in overflow zone, the AutoPower System keeps track of all goods in that area, recording all part numbers, quantities, and descriptions for the parts stocked. Multiple bin locations in any warehouse can be difficult to manage. As stock is received, pulled and moved, the accountability of parts is often reduced to guessing. Tied to each part number is a special file that contains the multiple bin locations where the part can be found. The part can be tracked into as many as 49 bin locations within a single building. As product is received, it can be placed into several different bin locations. Once the computer is updated, the Part Inquiry program will then display the product available within these bins. Even the Picking Ticket system knows where the stock can be found if the primary bin location is temporarily out of stock.
