Credit Management

The standard business practice of extending credit to customers creates the need for an Accounts Receivable System. Periodically customers fail to meet their payment obligations in a timely manner causing cash flow problems.
AutoPower`s Credit Management System was designed to give the accounts receivable Manager total control over the company`s Accounts Receivable. The net result is improved cash flow, fewer overdue accounts and a smoother running business.
Once invoices have been updated to the proper Accounts Receivable files, they become subject to the watchful eye of the Credit Management System. From that point, through the use of established credit limits and monitoring Past Due Aging reports, the Credit Manager is able to identify those customer accounts that are reaching conditions that warrant collection activity.
At the counter, the Order Entry system will automatically warn the countermen of pending customer credit problems as an order is entered. Then, selling product is done only upon approval of the Credit Manager. The responsibility of approving further charges to the account is now the responsibility of the Credit Manager and not the counterman.
