Some distribution organizations will have Repair/Rebuild facilities as a an important division within their business, the AutoPower Work Order - Rebuild System module has been equipped with many features necessary to provide for full facility control over work performed, parts sold and labor performed to complete the Work Order.
AutoPowers Work Order System is accessed through the normal Order Entry system. The Work Order screens appear similar to the Order Entry screens, however, they possess many powerful features specifically designed for the Heavy Duty Repair/Rebuild Shop.
The Work Order module handles Warranty, Labor Only, Parts Only, and any mix of these three. Full back order control for the work orders will permit ordering of special parts, and out of stock parts required to complete a Work Order. Several Work Order features give management tighter control over the jobs, labor, technician performance, parts usage and billing.
The Work Order entry procedure will prompt for data that will be used by the Shop Manager and the Accounting department throughout the life of the Work Order. This information is entered at the time the Work Order is first entered into the system and it is later updated throughout the life of the order.
